Friday 3 November [Actually November 02]Stiff breeze with thick drift. The going has been extraordinarily heavy, and the dogs have struggled hard to move the sledges forward.
Well now we have a gale from the south (force 6) and we have –15°. What on earth does this mean?
We are having a splendid time in the tent. The tent is even and flat as a pancake. I started wearing snow goggles at 80°. The others have not yet started.
