The Norwegian-American Antarctic Traverse 2007-2009

In four tracked vehicles, 13 people set forth on the most challenging research expedition Norway has ever carried out in Antarctica. Ahead of them are some 5500 km of unknown terrain, glacial crevasses, and temperatures below  50 degrees C. The expedition goes from the Norwegian Antarctic Station Troll, through the vast Antarctic inland, places no human has been before, to the South Pole.

Jan-Gunnar led the expedition.
