Commemorative flight

Antarctica Sightseeing Flights is offering a commemorative flight in conjunction with the centenaries of the South Pole Expeditions of Amundsen (1910-1912) and Scott (Terra Nova 1910-1913) and Douglas Mawson’s 1911-1914) Australasian Antarctic Expedition (AAE).
 

This special commemorative flight has been planned by the same team of polar scientists, who took part in «Flight into Australian Antarctic History» in January 2009 celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of the South Magnetic Pole.

The flight is sceduled 15 January 2012.

Antarctica Sightseeing Flights has operated over 100 flights since 1994.
